Parkinson terbentuk di Awal 2001,yang beranggotakan Gustri (guitar), geri(growl n scream), Ateng ( drummer). sedangkan untuk di posisi bass,parkinson memasang Buno sebagai additional.Buno hengkang, kemudian bassposisi di perkuat arief (sekarang basis BAOT pontianak grindcore).Dengan Masuk nya arief memberi warna aksi panggung parkinson di berbagai gigs, cadas. Parkinson memilih "Brutal Death Metal groove" sebagai genre music nya.Parkinson di pilih sebagai nama band yang pada saat itu situasi dan kondisi kita,kagum dengan hal2 yg berbau medis,patologi dll. seorang teman yg kuliah di farmasi (dedi kunto) berkontribusi utk menamakan band kami menjadi Parkinson,dan sepakat dengan itu, penyakit yang di derita petinju Dunia M.Ali, yang perlahan-lahan akan membunuh penderitanya dengan menyerang sistem syaraf penderita tersebut. Parkinson terinfluance oleh band-band Death Metal Dunia maupun lokal indonesia seperti Dying fetus, suffocation,sepultura, slayer,deformity, death vomit, vomit remnand,bloody gore, death sound( pontianak), berhala (pontianak)dan banyak lagi band2 yg menginspirasi termasuk band2 yg mengusung Hardcore n metalcore juga. Memasuki tahun ke 4 (2005), parkinson perlahan-lahan vakum di karenakan personil sibuk dengan permasalahan dan rutinitas nya masing-masing. gery harus pindah kerja dari pontianak ke ketapang, ateng hijrah ke tanah kelahiran,padang(sumbar), gustri mesti menyelesaikan kuliah nya yg luntang lantung..hahahahaha. 2006 sampai dengan 2009, Parkinson hilang dari peredaran. Tahun 2010,Parkinson bangkit lagi dari keterpurukan ,mulai hidup kembali untuk mengisi gigs Death metal dan all genre di kalimantan barat, khusus nya kota pontianak dengan format dan personil baru nya..Gustri (guitar), gede dari death sound(guttural), angga dari malact templat(basis), veli dari erase the name(drum). dan formasi ini sempat mengisi event2 awal 2010 yaitu bleeding fest 4,Pontianak bergerak. setelah itu terjadi pergantian drummer lagi, dari veli ke jecko alias ojeck(Mandau) dan mengisi event pontianak hate fest. kemudian terjadi pergantian drummer lagi, dari jecko ke bagas ( the last supper) sampai saat ini. Dengan kehadiran bagas memperkuat parkinson, memberi suasana yang semkain gahar dan solid...kesimpulan nya tetap optimis, santak ujukng sengat. Adil ka Talino, bacuramin ka saruga, Basengat ka Jubata....m/
